Follow The Steps to Configure Mi Wireless Range Extender AC1200

 

 1. Open Apple App Store or Google Play Store

2. Search & Download Mi Home-Xiaomi Smart Home Application

 

3.Open  Application and Agree the User Agreement and Privacy policy

 

4. Create or  Sign In to Mi account using your existing email or phone number

5. Allow the necessary system permissions.

 

6.Check all the permissions are enabled.


7.enable Bluetooth Permission


8.Enable access of your home data 


9. Now lets add the device Manually.



 
10. Application will search for nearby devices. if it not found try it manually

 
 
 
11. Scroll and select "Wi-Fi amplifier"
 


 
12. Select Your Extender Model.
 

 

 

13. Select " Set as a new amplifier" 



14. Before Continue reset the device. (if any existing connections have, it will be deleted !)




15. Enable Location Access


 

16.Select which Wi-Fi Network you want to extend !

 

 

17. Go to Wi-Fi Setting menu  and Select the Network which you want to Extend.

 


18.Here, Selected the Host Network. this is the main router Wi-Fi name (ie: Host Network)




19.Go to the application and enter the password of WiFi, same as before we connected from previous step.



20.After enter Password click "Next" and wait for to connect the extender with  main router.

 



21. After completed the connection..go and connect to Extender WiFi and return to MI-Home app.




 22. Here shows the Extender WiFi name. the password is always same as the main router password


 

23.Now its Connected to MI extender WiFi 


 

24.Return to Mi-Home App.Now it connecting to the device WiFi



25.wait for complete the configuration..

 

 

26.Now the MI extender successfully connected to the main router.


 

27.Customize, if you want  Mi-extender WiFi name 




28.MI WiFi Range extender Successfully configured as a Range Extender .

 

29 If you want to Change it to Access Point Mode, Please click AP Mode. after a restart .it will ready to use as Access point.


 

30 Now it changed to AP mode. you can put a LAN cable to either net Port and Enjoy browsing
